The Saints, who also got 12 points from Julie Eisentrout, led 35-22 at halftime and then held on despite, making just eight of 30 second-half shots.

Amy Taylor was the only player in double figures for SPU, whose last conference loss came on Feb. 7, 2002 at Bellingham to Western Washington by a 102-87 score. Taylor finished with 15 points. Michelle Beaumont and Quinn Brewe each had eight points. Carli Smith pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.

The loss, combined with a 58-34 win at Western Oregon by No. 14 Western Washington (WWU), dropped Seattle Pacific into a first-place tie in the GNAC with the WWU Vikings.  The two league leaders are slated to play Saturday, February 26 in Seattle.
